Yasmine serves as President of the Malta Model United Nations Society, where she leads its strategic vision and promotes dialogue, innovation, and active participation within a dynamic, student-driven platform for diplomacy. Her journey in student activism began within ASCS Malta, progressing from Subcommittee Member to Academic Officer and ultimately President, reflecting a sustained commitment to academic engagement and student empowerment.<\/p>

She later served as Conference Manager for the 10th Edition of the MaltMUN Conference, an experience that further strengthened her leadership and inspired her to continue her involvement within the organisation. Now, she proudly leads a dedicated team, working \u201cdriven by youth, empowering youth\u201d, while actively mentoring and guiding new MUNers.<\/p>

Professionally, Yasmine is a Senior Financial Advisor at Quazar Malta. As the Society Vice-President of Malta Model United Nations Society, Malcolm oversees all matters of the Society and the supervision of the Officers. He further promotes the society\u2019s missions of fostering excellence and diplomacy in all its capacities.<\/span><\/p>

Through his roles as Projects Officer with the Junior Chamber of Advocates, Events Officer with JEF Malta, and Logistics Officer for MaltMUN, Malcolm has developed strong competencies in event planning, logistical coordination, and operational management. Across these positions, he has been responsible for organising seminars and conferences, managing logistics and on-site event delivery, coordinating teams, and supporting event promotion and post-event evaluation.<\/span><\/p>

Furthermore, Malcolm is committed to strengthening the Society’s impact both locally and internationally. Sebastian Mizzi is a first-year Bachelor of Commerce (BCom) student with a strong passion for diplomacy and international relations.<\/span><\/p>

Currently serving as the Society Executive Secretary of MaltMUN, he plays an active role in supporting the organization and coordination of Model United Nations initiatives. Federica Pace, a final-year Master in Accountancy student at the University of Malta, has a passion for learning, connecting, and engaging with youth. Mariah Mangion is a 21-year-old third-year law student with a strong interest in education, youth engagement, and international dialogue. Alongside her academic studies, she is also a singer and songwriter, using music as a form of creative expression and storytelling. Her music has reached number one on local radio stations, and she was also a finalist in a national singing competition.<\/p>

Serving on the MaltMUN Executive Committee, James is committed to spreading MaltMUN\u2019s message as widely as possible in his role as Vice Conference Manager. He believes that many young people are drawn to politics and current affairs but rarely have the opportunity to explore them in depth. Through this position, he aims to bring MaltMUN directly into sixth forms and other youth spaces, firmly believing that participating in MaltMUN, especially its annual Conference, is essential for anyone wishing to develop their public speaking, debating, critical thinking, and research skills, as well as the confidence to articulate ideas effectively.<\/p>

Her goal is to ensure that every visual and media output <\/span>communicates purpose, professionalism, and creativity, reinforcing MaltMUN\u2019s values while <\/span>remaining accessible and engaging to its audience. For Megan, branding is not just about <\/span>aesthetics, but about shaping how the organisation is understood and experienced.<\/span><\/p>

At the core of her work is the use of creativity as a strategic asset. Megan focuses on <\/span>innovation, consistency, and storytelling to create media that resonates, inspires participation, <\/span>and fosters a sense of belonging within the MaltMUN community. Ena Micallef is a first-year LL.B. (Hons) student at the University of Malta with a focused interest in European and International law. Her background in leadership includes serving as the Head Director for St Aloysius College\u2019s Soir\u00e9e 2025, where she managed the production of a large-scale musical showcase. Proactive in her legal studies, Ena chose to participate in various moot court and negotiation competitions just one month into her degree, seeking to apply advocacy and interest-based strategy early in her academic journey.<\/span><\/p>

Her interest in diplomacy led her to represent the Kingdom of Morocco at MaltMUN 2025, and she will soon represent France at MUNUSAL 2026 in Salamanca. Beyond simulations, Ena has co-authored resolutions on democracy presented to European Parliament officials, gaining experience in communicating legislative ideas. Lucienne Gaf\u00e0 is a 23-year-old student from Malta currently pursuing a Master\u2019s degree in Diplomatic Studies at the University of Malta, following the completion of a Bachelor\u2019s degree (Hons) in European Studies with Psychology.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>

Her academic interests centre on diplomacy, international affairs, and European perspectives, with international relations being a field she has been passionate about from a young age.<\/span><\/p>

Having lived abroad during her childhood, she was exposed early to diverse cultures and international realities, which helped shape her interest in global affairs and diplomatic engagement. She is actively involved in student policy work, currently serving as Social Policy Officer. In this role, she writes on current global affairs, develops policy papers, and contributes articles on a range of topics of interest.<\/span><\/p>

Model United Nations is one of her key pursuits, allowing her to apply her passion for diplomacy and negotiation through debate, collaboration, and resolution drafting. Jade Psaila Dufoo Villegas serves as the Events Officer for MaltMUN, where she focuses on developing initiatives and events that encourage people to learn more about the organization and its values. With particular interests in the work of the World Health Organization and UNICEF, she believes that platforms such as Model United Nations provide students with opportunities to develop confidence and awareness of global challenges. Through her role, she hopes to create events that bring more students to the MaltMUN community.<\/span><\/p>

Jade is also currently pursuing studies in Biology and Chemistry, reflecting her interest in healthcare and global health issues. Aside from her studies, she has gained experience working with students through roles at IELS and Kamaja Summer School, where she led and supervised activities for groups of international students, helping her further develop communication and leadership skills.
