MaltMUN 2022 Conference Concrete Commitments: From Policy to Practice

We are proud to announce to this year’s theme – Concrete Commitments: From Policy to Practice!

We decided to focus this year’s conference theme on the idea of linking theories and talks with critical thinking and concrete action. Whilst we believe diplomacy is the only way forward, current pressing issues require more than mere talks and policy documents. Throughout our conference, we wish to encourage young minds to bring forward fresh and innovative ideas and solutions, inspire them to exercise their intellectual curiosity and critical thinking skills, to foster the world’s future leaders. Leaders who are committed to bringing forth change, sustainability and prosperity not just by words but by concrete solutions.

Conference 2021

The theme for the sixth edition of MaltMUN follows the title of “Remedy or Recovery? Unmasking the Silent Pandemics”. The COVID-19 pandemic has brought about an unexpected and overwhelming impact on the lives of youths around the world. On the one hand, it has served to highlight certain issues which the global community was suddenly forced to take cognisance of and to try to find innovative solutions for. It exposed the level of interdependence between States and the importance of cooperation on an international level in a globalised world.
