The Press Corps offers participants the opportunity to experience the power of media in diplomacy. Journalists will cover committee proceedings, report breaking news, and host press conferences throughout the conference.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to interact with the Press Corps — sharing stories, shaping narratives, and bringing an additional layer of realism to the policymaking process.

Press Corps is the voice of MaltMUN 2026, shaping how the entire conference is seen (and remembered). Journalists operate on the frontlines, at the heart of every committee to ensure that no key moment goes unnoticed. From intense debates to unexpected crises, they report in real time, conduct interviews, host press conferences, and launch press releases, bringing the conference to life beyond the committee rooms. More than just observers, they are storytellers. As the most dynamic committee, Press Corps is essential for the conference: it ensures transparency, accountability, and creativity in every corner of MaltMUN 2026.

Hi everyone, I’m Matilde, and I’ll be one of the Editors-in-Chief!
I’m a third-year bachelor’s student of International and European Law at the University of Groningen. When I’m not busy with MUN or drowning in case law readings, I love traveling to new places, enjoying the occasional theatre visit, and spending far too many hours wandering through museums. After joining as a journalist in last year’s Conference, I am beyond excited to be returning to Malta as EIC. I look forward to meeting you in August and reporting live the breaking news of MaltMUN 2026!
I am Monika, I am 21 years old and currently studying Global Studies in Salamanca, Spain, where I am a member of MUNUSAL. I started my MUN journey when I began college, and since then it has become a huge part of my life. Through MUN, I have had incredible experiences, made unforgettable memories, and met amazing people who became true friends.
I will be chairing Press Corps, the most creative and chaotic committee of the conference. We will work hard, laugh a lot, and make this committee unforgettable.
We may be stressed, but we will always be smiling!
